The O&P PAC Wine Auction

On Tuesday, September 9, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, you are invited to a new and very special event – The O&P PAC Wine Auction - for a select audience of O&P professionals who share an enthusiasm for wine and a commitment to fund, properly, the O&P Political Action Committee. Please join us in Truffles, on the Blue Level (West Tower) of the Hyatt Regency Chicago, for this first-ever wine auction.

O&P is such a small slice of healthcare cost that it would be easy to be lost in the crowd and suffer accordingly as a new Congress and a new President grapple with the challenge of the runaway Medicare costs. It has never been more critical for O&P to participate significantly in the campaign financing of those serving on committees in the House and Senate that will be making decisions affecting everyone in O&P.

You may use a corporate credit card or check for the $125 admission to the auction. If corporate payment is used those proceeds will fund the Capitol Connection – the O&P government relations educational effort. However, a personal check or credit card for admission and/or payment for successful bids on the tempting wines permits those funds to go directly into the O&P Political Action Committee for distribution to worthy candidates. Only personal checks or credit cards are permitted by law in payment of wine which can be shipped to you after the event.

This promises to be a fun evening and the first chance for a very special group of O&P professionals to share their joy for wine and their passion for protecting our profession. Our evening will be under the direction of wine connoisseurs extraordinaire – AOPA Board Member, Anita Liberman–Lampear and Alan Lampear.

And finally, we hope that you will also wish to donate that very special bottle you’ve been saving for a very special occasion. Please consider donating it to the O&P PAC Wine Auction for this is truly an occasion with very special importance.
