Devon Bernard
Devon Bernard has worked for the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA) since 2007 and is currently serving as the Assistant Director of Coding & Reimbursement Services, Education, and Programming.
Mr. Bernard holds a B.A. degree from the University of Florida, is a routine contributor to the O&P Almanac; and conducts several seminars through the year regarding coding, billing, compliance and other Medicare issues.
Joe McTernan
Joe McTernan is currently Director of Health Policy and Advocacy for the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA). He also served as AOPA’s Manager of Reimbursement from 1996 until 1998. From 1998 until 2005, he served as Director of Regulatory Affairs for Hanger Prosthetics and Orthotics in Bethesda, Maryland.
Mr. McTernan holds a B.S. degree in Biology from James Madison University located in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He authors articles for the O&P Almanac and contributes to the AOPA In Advance newsletter, in addition to participating in frequent AOPA seminars regarding coding, billing, compliance and other Medicare issues.
