Policy Forum FAQ



Registration will open at the L’Enfant Plaza Hotel in Washington, DC at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12th, 2013. The Policy Forum begins on Tuesday, March 12 at 1:00 p.m. and concludes after your last congressional appointment on Wednesday, March 13.
During registration you will receive all the materials required for the Policy Forum.

Congressional Visits

AOPA will schedule all Congressional visits for you, and will make all attempts to provide you with an appointment schedule during registration on March 12.  However, the schedule is subject to last minute changes and may not be available when you register.

Appointments may be scheduled as early as 9:00 a.m and no later than 5:00 p.m.

If you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment please notify AOPA immediately. 

What to Wear

Business casual attire is the preferred dress for the events on March 12th. You may want to keep a light sweater or jacket on hand, as meeting rooms will likely be cool. Sport coats and ties or suits are preferred for Capitol Hill visits on March 13th.


There will be a Welcome Dinner on Tuesday evening and a Breakfast on Wednesday morning. You will be own you own for all other meals.
