Thank you for joining AOPA, the trade association for orthotics and prosthetics.
AOPA and its members strive for a world where orthotic and prosthetic care transforms lives.
You are now part of the largest non-profit organization for O&P, joining more than 1,600 patient care facilities.
Jump Start Your Journey
Every member of your staff is eligible to take advantage of all the AOPA member benefits. To do this, each staff member needs a unique email address to access the member portal, AOPA Connection.
Create Your Member Profile and Tell Us about Yourself
Log into AOPA Connection at https:// myaopaconnection.org and enter your email address. The system will either ask to verify your employer or place of business, or sign up for a new account. We invite everyone to share a photo, short bio, and areas of interest and expertise on their profiles.
Connect with other O&P Professionals
MY OP Community is an online community for members that is accessed through AOPA Connection. You can join various communities and ask questions, share resources, and network with others.
Free Ask the Expert consultation for your coding, billing, and audit questions
AOPA’s coding, billing, and audit experts are available by phone and email to answer your questions about audits, denials, coding, and billing, as well as new policies that are implemented by regulators.
Get Involved
Build your network. Advance your career. Give back to the profession by volunteering to serve on an AOPA committee. Your participation provides a necessary level of support to AOPA by participating in the association’s governance. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to become involved! The Annual Call for Volunteers occurs each June.
Be an advocate for the profession and its patients. AOPA members come to Washington DC each spring for the AOPA Policy Forum to meet with their legislative representatives to do just this. Members are invited to bring a patient to help tell the O&P story and how changes are needed to improve patient care.
To help you build your advocacy skills and stay up-to-date on the latest ongoing policies and legislative efforts, we hold Advocacy in Action Webinars monthly.

AOPA provides CEs for participants of its educational programs:
- The National Assembly is the largest meeting of O&P professionals in the U.S., with an exhibit hall and educational sessions.
