How Are PAC Dollars Spent?

Once funds are raised The O&P PAC will research and identify candidates to receive PAC funds.

These candidates, many of whom have demonstrated an interest and concern for O&P, are from both political parties and are in a position to influence legislative debate on issues that affect the financial future of the O&P field. Some are leaders in the House and Senate who control what legislation moves forward.

Most of the O&P PAC’s contributions go to members of Congress who serve on the Senate Labor and Human Resources, Finance, and Aging Committees and the House Ways and Means and Commerce Committees. These key committees consider health, Medicare, veterans and insurance issues as well as business issues including antitrust product liability.
